Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The programme of the 9th International Festival of Contemporary Music "New Waves" presents a complex network of contemporary compositional tendencies. The festival, organized by the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Composers' Union, will take place from the 28th of November to the 3rd of December, 2023. Admission is free!
There will be music using traditional instruments and that using new media (electronics, multimedia), works presenting the idea of absolute music and an idea that can be described as "new programmatic music", works constructed mathematically or based on improvisation.
