Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
During the concerts of the 14th Gdańsk Accordion Music Interpretation Art on December 13-14, 2023, four works by contemporary Polish artists will be premiered, classics of accordion literature will be presented, as well as transcriptions. Admission to the concerts is free!
Composer Prof. Zbigniew Bargielski will be a special guest of the project. On the 13th of December at 18:00 in the Patio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, his composition Ship of Madmen for accordion and clarinet will be performed for the first time by accordionist Paweł Zagańczyk (organizer of the event) and clarinetist Andrzej Wojciechowski. In addition, ACC 4 by Krzysztof Olczak and Splashes by Zagańczyk himself will be premiered. The concert will be accompanied by visualisations by Marta Prabucka and Kornel Kowalski.
