Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
As part of the project of Polish Chamber Musicians of Collegium Cantorum "Anthology of Polish a Cappella works", the latest album "Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz - Choral Works" (DUX 2055) will be released on the 16th of January, 2024. It will be available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Tidal platforms as well as in Empik stores.
Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz's composition achievements are very rich and extremely diverse, but - most importantly in the context of the project - the composer is considered a master of a cappella choral works. The theme of the album released by DUX are songs that can be placed in the national mainstream: Kurpie Songs inspired by folklore, From Chopin's songs (memories of the greatest masters), sacred music (Polish Litany, Ave Regina caelorum), heart-warming lyrics by great poets in the compositions of Orfeusz in the forest, A soldier's dream, On the Warsaw bridge.
The songs were recorded by the Częstochowa ensemble Polish Chamber Musicians Collegium Cantorum, conducted by Janusz Siadlak, the initiator of the project.
