Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.
The 1st "Early Spring Ballet" Festival, which will take place on February 15-25, 2024, is new in the repertoire of the Grand Theater in Poznań. It will be a platform for artistic creations by young artists who share fresh perspective on dance, youthful energy and the search for new forms of expression. The festival also refers to the rich festival history of the Poznań Grand Theater and the city's tradition in the field of dance.
"Early Spring Ballet" will open with the spectacle "Spectrum 02" - choreographic debuts of dancers of the Ballet of the Grand Theater in Poznań. In this project, nine ballet artists not only dance and act as choreographers, but also develop a communication strategy, produce promotional materials, set design, select music, costumes, etc. The choreography to Wacław Zimpel's composition, which is include in the event programme, was prepared by Manuel Sanchez Cirbian.
