24th edition of the Świętokrzyskie Music Days will be held between April 15 and 29, 2016 at the Oscar Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce.
The programme includes symphonic and chamber concerts, film screenings and exhibitions. The audience will be presented with music by Andrzej Jagodziński (Piano Concerto), Wojciech Kilar, Piotr Perkowski, Michał Spisak, Aleksander Tansman, Hanna Kulenty (Saxophone Concerto which will be premiered on April 22 at the Warsaw Philharmonic), Witold Maliszewski (Symphony No. 1), Edward Pałłasz, Aleksander Kościów (premiere performance of O, call not me…), Tadeusz Szeligowski (Wind Quintet), Grażyna Bacewicz (Wind Quintet), Józef Świder (Lyrical Miniatures for wind quintet) amd many others. The works will be interpreted by proMODERN, Andrzej Jagodziński Trio, Sławomir Zubrzycki (viola organista constructor and player), Alina Mleczko, Piotr Sałajczyk, Ravel Piano Duo, Wind Quintet of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under Jacek Rogala, Daniel Gazon and Bohdan Jarmołowicz.
