7th International Sfogato Festival

Sfogato2016 edition of the International Sfogato Festival will be held between September 29 and December 7 in Krakow.

The idea of the festival was inspired by Fryderyk Chopin's music and artistic personality. The organizers took the name from his Barcarole Op. 60, in which the composer signed one of the fragments with words dolce sfogato. The event is aimed at presenting ways in which music (especially Chopin’s) may affect one's health and well-being.

This year's programme includes concerts, workshops, lecture on the role of music in blood cancer therapy, competition for mobile phone ringtones and conference Psychology: Music - Art - Media.

Admission free.
