Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The main role during the 14th Leo Festival on June 1-4, 2023 will be played by the chamber orchestra of the National Forum of Music.
At the inauguration of the Festival, the Leopoldinum Orchestra will perform two works by composers from Poland and Austria - Witold Lutosławski and Heinz Karl Gruber - alongside two timeless symphonies by Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Another important goal is cooperation with children's and youth choirs in opera productions. During the theatrical evening crowning this year's edition of the NFM Leo Festival, the Leopoldinum Orchestra and the NFM Boys and Girls Choirs will perform two children's operas: Wir bauen eine Stadt by P. Hindemith and Brundibar by H. Krásy.
