  • Paweł Zuzańskiviolin
  • Lynda Anne Cortis – cello
  • Artur Pacewicz – piano

The Panufnik Trio exists since 2003. Three young musicians: Pawel Zuzanski (violin), Lynda Anne Cortis (cello) and Artur Pacewicz (piano) have chosen for their patron Andrzej Panufnik – Polish composer (1914-1991) who imigrated to Great Britain.

Outstanding personalities with whom the trio has collaborated, including Shmuel Ashkenazi, Hatto Beyerle, Elmar Budde, Erich Höbarth, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Ferenc Rados, Christoph Richter, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Gérard Wyss, Gerrit Zitterbart and ensembles like Artis Quartet and Jean-Paul Trio have greatly influenced their direction and concept.

In 2006-2008 the ensemble was a member of the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy) which promotes international leading young string quartets and piano trios, and participated in numerous sessions and lectures given by their tutors in Hannover, Oslo, Vienna and Zurich.

In 2005 the trio won the 3rd prize at The Charles Hennen International Chamber Music Competition in Heerlen, Netherlands, and in 2006 the trio took part at the 4th Trondheim Chamber Music Festival and Academy, during which the ensemble was coached by Joseph Kalichstein and Lars Anders Tomter. The trio had also the opportunity during this event to work on its modern repertoire with David Harrington from the Kronos Quartet.

In 2007 the trio received a scholarship from the Märkischer Culture Conference. The jury was impressed by "high standards of the individual players, which, nonetheless, always served the ensemble recognisably" and "interpretations of youthful freshness and intoxicating momentum".

The trio performs throughout European countries - has played during Musikfest Goslar (Germany), Braunschweig Classix Festival (Germany), Kalkalpen Kammermusik Festival (Austria), Festival Pablo Casals Prades (France), Festival di Pasqua e Pentecoste (Italy), in Krönungssaal of the Aachen Rathaus, Philips Hall in Eindhoven (Netherlands) and has performed the Triple Concerto by Ludwig van Beethoven with the 'Philharmonie Gotha-Suhl' and the 'Märkisches Youth Orchestra'.
