The jury of the last year’s edition of the Tadeusz Ochlewski Composition Competition agreed on awarding 2 distinctions (ex-aequo) to Marcin Antkowiak and Aleksandra Słyż.

The main theme of 2016 edition was a work for double bass and electronics. The jury members (Aleksander Gabryś - chairman, Jurek Dybał, Grzegorz Frankowski and Daniel Cichy) did not grant the 1st prize. The compositions which received distinctions (Connexion by Marcin Antkowiak and Glossy by Aleksandra Słyż) will be premiered, published and included in the PWM Edition catalogue.

The Composition Competition named after Tadeusz Ochlewski (founder of the PWM Edition, violinist and teacher) has been organized by the PWM Edition since 2003.
