Zagan Acoustic is an instrumental quartet which performs on concert stages in Poland and Europe since 2006. The band was founded by the students of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk as an interesting form of exploration of improvised music. Today Zagan Acoustic is a group of friends realizing musical ideas in the field of jazz, folk, tango and klezmer music. The core of the repertoire are original compositions recorded on the debut album 3:1, as well as works from the second album Folk & Roll, written by Polish composers inspired by folk music.

Zagan Acoustic participates in many interesting music projects, performing with jazzman Krzesimir Dębski, Academic Choir of the University of Gdańsk and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot. Expressive sound, great vitality, virtuosity and a great sense of humor are the most common words in the ensemble's reviews. Over six hundred concerts played since the band was formed include performances on radio, television, at philharmonics, theaters, clubs and even flashmob concerts. Since 2012 they have been dedicated to Jakub Kubala – the first clarinettist of the quartet.
