He debuted as composer at the age of 16. As a conductor he has worked with Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR), Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as philharmonic orchestras in Jelenia Góra, Kielce, and Koszalin. He has conducted many world premieres and recordings of works by Polish composers. Since 2000 he has been the artistic director of the Forum Ensemble Chamber Orchestra, which he co-founded. In the 2004/05 season he was the conductor and music director of Franz Lehár's operetta The Land of Smiles, while in the 2005/06 season he conducted Leonard Bernstein's musical West Side Story at the Capitol Music Theatre in Wrocław.
Miłosz Bembinow's works have been performed at a range of festivals, including the Polish National Young Talents Festival in Tarnów; Gaude Mater International Festival of Sacral Music in Częstochowa; International Conversatorium of Organ Music in Legnica; International Festival of Choral Music in Fano (Italy); "Gwiazdy Promują" ("Stars Promote") festival in Jelenia Góra; International Days of Music by Krakow Composers; Poznań Music Spring; Warsaw Music Encounters, as well as concerts – both in Poland (including numerous appearances in the Warsaw Philharmonic), and abroad (in most European countries, North and South America, and Asia). His compositions have been broadcast on radio and television stations, and released on 30 albums (published by Acte Préalable, Cavalli Records, Digiton Records, DUX, Musica Sacra Edition, and Soliton), 2 of which won the "Fryderyk" award (2012) in the best contemporary music album and choral and oratorio music album category. The CD&DVD album Łukaszewski i Bembinow – kolędy i pastorałki (Łukaszewski and Bembinow – Carols and Pastorals) became a golden DVD record in 2011, and in 2013 – a platinum DVD and golden CD record.
Miłosz Bembinow's output includes chamber, orchestra, and oratorio pieces, along with popular and film music. Especially significant are his choral works. They have been performed by the chorus of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, Polish Chamber Choir – Schola Cantorum Gedanensis, Białystok Chamber Choir Cantica Cantamus, Choir of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Kansas State University Choir (USA), Choir of the Częstochowa University of Technology – Collegium Cantorum, Choir of the Institute of Musicology of the Catholic University of Lublin, Academic Choir of the University of Białystok, University of Warsaw Choir, Wrocław Philharmonic Choir, and Toruń-based choir Astrolabium.
Miłosz Bembinow is an award-winning composer. In 1996 he received the 1st prize at the Polish National Composing Competition for Students of Schools of Music in Tarnów for Sit venia verbo! for string quartet (1996) and 3rd prize at the Adam Didur National Composition Competition in Sanok for Lamento for lyric tenor and piano (1996). In 1997 the composer won a prize for an arrangement of Silent Night for violin and mixed choir (1996) at the Polish National Festival of Christmas Carols in Myślenice as well as the first prize at the Musica Sacra Composition Competition in Częstochowa for Veni Sancte Spiritus for mixed choir a cappella (1996). In 2001 his dust and shadow we are… for mezzo soprano and chamber orchestra (2000) received a distinction at the Adam Didur Competition in Sanok, while Seven Gates to Happiness for tape (2001) won a distinction at the Tadeusz Baird Competition for Young Composers in Warsaw. He has written work commissioned by the Warsaw Music Encounters Festival, Conversatorium of Organ Music in Legnica, Endemol-Neovision, Łomża Chamber Orchestra, Hob-beats Percussion Duo, Centre for Thought of John Paul II, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, Sommer-Oper-Bamberg, Bamberg Cathedral Chamber Choir, Puellae Orantes – Tarnów Cathedral Girls' Choir, organist Jan Bokszczanin, Regensburg Chatedral Choir, Festival of Academic Choirs – Universitas Cantat in Poznań, Teatr Squad Form, ForMusic Foundation, and Association of Polish Musicians (SPAM) as part of a programme run by the Institute of Music and Dance.
He was actively involved in spearheading the Students' Musical Forum and the National Composers Competition of the Students' Musical Forum. In 2003-07 he was the chairman of the Polish Section of Jeunesses Musicales International, while in 2008-09 he served as deputy director of Keimyung–Chopin Academy of Music in Daegu (South Korea). Until 2011 he also led "Harmony Sphere” – the Artistic Initiatives’ Foundation, which he co-founded in 2002. Currently, he is in charge of international contacts and copyright at Polish Composers' Union and chairman of the Classical Music Authors Section of the Association of Authors and Composers ZAIKS (collective rights management organisation).
Since 2004 he has been a lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
