born 22 January 1952 in Gliwice. She received her musical training at the Music Academy in Cracow, where she studied piano with Ludwik Stefanski. Whilst a student she took special courses at the Piano Master Classes in Duszniki Zdroj with Wiktor Mierzanow (Moscow Conservatory of Music), Ryszard Bakst (Prof. of Conservatory of Music in Manchester - G. Britain), Stefan Askenase (Brussels). She also improved her piano skills in Summer Academy of Music in Prague studying with Frantisek Rauch and Valentina Kamenikova (Czech pianists and teachers) as well as in Summer Academy of Music in Weimar – with Tatjana Nikolajeva (Music Academy in Moscow).
Since her undergraduate days Teresa began an intense number of concerts in the most important Polish cities, including prestigious Chopin series in Zelazowa Wola, Ostrogski Palace, Lazienki Park in Warsaw (with Chopin program), in Lublin, Cracow, Katowice. She has performed with success in more than 40 countries in Europe, North America, Far and Middle East playing in prestigious theatres and concert halls in London (Wigmore Hall, Barbican Centre, St. Martin-in-the Fields, St. John’s Smith Sq, Purcell Room ), Prague (Bertramka), Los Angeles (Bing Theatre), Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Centre in New York, Salle de Gaveaux in Paris.
Solo and in duo she took part in many international music festivals (Koday Festival in Kecskemet, Chopin Festival in Antonin, Chopin Festival in Miami, Chopin Festival in New York, Mozart Festival in Warsaw, Music Festival in Middlesborough, International Festival in Douai - France, Music and architecture in Lublin, Music Festival for Radio and Television in Lancut, Virtuoses in Lviv, Pasko Ljeto, International Music Festival in Rovinj, Osorske Veceri in Croatia).
She is often invited for lectures and Master Classes in Universities and Conservatories of Music in London, Los Angeles (USA), Reykiavik, Catania (Sicily), Presov, Kosice (Slovakia) as well as juror of several international piano competitions (Napoli, Agropoli, Tarnow).
Pianist has got many solo and chamber music broadcasts for the radio and TV in Poland and abroad, and recorded more than 60 hours with unknown and rediscovered Polish music for the Polish National Radio in Warsaw. She gave also several “life” concerts for the radio and TV in Poland and abroad including Polish National Radio in Warsaw, Polish National Television in Warsaw, Radio Classics KKGO in Los Angeles. She has recorded several CD’s for DUX and INTER-ART, last: Chopin, I.Albeniz - Spanish Suite Nr 1 op. 47, Paderewski, Relaxing Latin Classics, Polish Favourities (by greatest polish composers including Paderewski, Szymanowski, Różycki, Lutoslawski, Szeligowski, Bacewicz, Kisielewski).
She was awarded by the Ministry of Culture in Warsaw for her unique recitals presenting unknown Polish music abroad.
