In 2002 she graduated with honours from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, having studied composition with Professor Bronisław Kazimierz Przybylski. In 2000 she studied composition at the Conservatorium Hogeschool Enschede. In 2010-12 she completed a postgraduate programme in film music, computer music and audiovisual arts at the Academy of Music in Łódź. She took part in creative workshops led by Bogdan Hołownia (2006), Stanisław Syrewicz, Zygmunt Krauze, Krzysztof Zanussi, Maciej Strzembosz, Andrea Smirnova, Marek Chołoniewski, Andrzej Titkow, and Piotr Domagała (2010-11).
Zuzanna Niedzielak is a clarinetist of the Płock Symphony Orchestra and the Grand Theatre in Łódź. She teaches the clarinet and instrumentation. In 2010-11 she taught Instrumentation for Wind Ensembles at the Academy of Music in Łódź. She devised instrumentations and arrangements for the Łódź Philharmonic, Wrocław Philharmonic, Rzeszów Philharmonic, Płock Symphony Orchestra; soloists: Jerzy Dybał (Vienna Philharmonic), Dariusz Stachura (Grand Theatre in Łódź), Andrzej Kostrzewski (Grand Theatre in Łódź); conductor Bettina Schmitt; chamber ensembles (Claribel, BAClaFlu, Analogue Quartet, En Bateau, Art Nouveau, Cztery Żywioły), and festivals: Festspiele Röttingen (Germany) and Wachaufestspielen (Austria).
In 2010 she received a honourable mention of the Srebrna Szybka (Silver Pane) composition competition in Kraków, and in 2011 - a prize for Co się wydarzyło na strychu (What Happened in the Attic) for clarinet and harp at the 9th Children Duets Competition in Warsaw. In 2012 she was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit for her contribution to the development of music.
Zuzanna Niedzielak's works were performed at more than a dozen sessions of Musica Moderna at the Academy of Music in Łódź, DoReMi Festival (1997), International Harp Festival in Katowice (2006), 2nd Polish National Competition of Duets with Harp in Cieszyn (2008), Duettino in Warsaw (2010), Polish national competition Miniature for Celtic Harp (2011), 9th Children Duets Competition (2011), at the Grand Theatre in Łódź (2002), and by the Płock Symphony Orchestra (2006, 2012).
In the 2012/2013 season she was a composer-in-residence of the Płock Symphony Orchestra as part of the Composer-in-Residence programme of the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw.
