Singer (baritone); born 28 February 1985 in Szczecin. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznań, where he studied under Jerzy Mechliński. He then advanced his skills at the Paris National Opera's Atelier Lyrique.
He won distinctions at the 2nd Adam Didur International Opera Singers' Competition in Bytom (2008), the Grand Prix at the 9th National Vocal Competition in Duszniki-Zdrój (2008), as well as the First Prize and two special awards at the 50th Francisco Viñas International Singing Contest in Barcelona (2013).
He has performed at such venues as the Opéra National de Paris, Opéra de Saint-Étienne, the Castle Opera in Szczecin, the Silesian Opera in Bytom, the Wrocław Opera, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, the Poznań Opera House, and the Hungarian State Opera. He appeared in the Polish premiere of Weinberg's The Passenger at the Poznań Opera House (2013), as well as the world premieres of Marc-André Dalbavie's Charlotte Salomon in Salzburg (2014) and Zygmunt Krauze's The Marriage at the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań.
He has participated in festivals such as the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier and the Salzburg Festival. His song recitals have been held at the Villa Medici in Rome, the French Institute in London, the Amphitheatre of the Opéra Bastille, and the Louvre.
His discography includes recordings of Stanisław Moniuszko’s operas The Raftsman (Flis) and Verbum Nobile with the Castle Opera in Szczecin; the album was honored with the 2012 Album of the Year award at the International Classical Music Awards. His performance of Gustav Mahler's works with the National Orchestra of Lorraine, conducted by Jacques Mercier, was recorded by German radio.
