Creation

Janusz Wawrowski is the only Polish violinist who performs the complete Capricci op. 1 by Niccolò Paganini at his concerts. Wolfgang Marschner has observed that his performances may be compared with the playing of "only a few distinguished European violinists". Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, a famous Polish violinist, has written: "the very fact alone of being able to perform all the 24 capriccios inspires admiration and earns appreciation. The style in which Mr. Janusz Wawrowski plays the capriccios, makes us optimistic as to the future of the art of violin in Poland". And the great Ida Haendel has said this about him: "He is a wonderful violinist, a great talent deserving a worldwide career and an opportunity to perform in the world’s greatest concert halls".
