Katowice | The musical fairy tale "The Friend Who Wasn't There"

NOSPR 25 10 23Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC

The musical fairy tale "The Friend Who Wasn't There", based on the story "Lucjan. The Lion that Never Was” by Roksana Jędrzejewska-Wróbel is the result of cooperation between NOSPR and the ING Children Foundation. It will be presented again at NOSPR on the 25th of October, 2023 at 9.30 and 11.30.

The story of the main character helps the youngest confront the emotions that accompany them in experiencing life, especially in its most difficult moments. Adapting the plot for the needs of a musical performance is a joint step taken by NOSPR and the ING Children Foundation in order to create valuable and socially engaged productions for entire families.

The director-dramaturgical duo Sławomir Szczurek and Grzegorz Górny are responsible for the production of the performance.

The performance will be accompanied by music performed by Tomasz Herisz (percussion instruments), Anna Scheller (harp) and composer Przemysław Scheller (electronics). Anna Lis' songs will also be performed.
