The album “Victoria” was released in March 2025 by Warner Classics (50217 3 23462 1 6). It was recorded by Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Maciej Frąckiewicz, and Bartek Miler in the ruins of the Victoria Theatre in Gliwice, where the artists performed works from various eras and styles arranged for guitar, accordion, and percussion: early music, classical, tango, jazz, and electronic.
The album features arrangements of works by composers such as Isaac Albéniz, Luigi Boccherini, Alfred Schnittke, Tomás Gubitsch, Egberto Gismonti, and Fernando Tavolaro.
Two compositions were written specifically for this rarely seen ensemble: Le lotus pourpre by Bartek Miler himself, and Deadline by Aleksander Dębicz, which accompanied the album’s release as a single.
The three acclaimed artists—who regularly perform in the world’s leading concert halls—have recorded yet another album featuring world premiere recordings, filled with passion and intensity, and standing in stark contrast to the notion that contemporary music is difficult and inaccessible.
