At the end of 2023, five mazurkas by Sławomir Stanisław Czarnecki, composed between 2019 and 2022, were published by the Publishing House of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. 

The composer dedicated each piece to the lecturers of the UKW Department of Music Education: conductor Grzegorz Rubinow, composer Marcin Molski, pianist Marlena Winnicka, pianist Witold Kawalc, and conductor Bernard Mendlik. 

It is valuable pedagogical material: the order of the mazurkas in the cycle is based on escalating the difficulty of the musical material. It is intended for a wide group of performers - with less and more advanced performance skills.
