Polish Composers' Union to the Ukrainian Friends

Barbaric attack of Putin on Ukraine destroys our world in which culture plays an important role. It’s about human relations, bonds beyond borders, co-operation and frienships.

Our Ukrainian friends with whom we have been exchanging our music experiences for years found themselves in direct danger. We think about You more than ever in these tragic days wishing you survival and getting your normal life back. We think about Igor Shcherbakov - President of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine, Bohdan Sehin – director of the ‘Contrasts’ Festival in Lviv and Karmella Tsepkolenko – artistic director of the ‘Two Days and Two Nights’ Festival in Odessa and many more musicians, composers and organisers of music life in Ukraine.

And Ukraine will win, Putin will lose!

Mieczysław Kominek
