The idea behind this unique young artists’ endeavour is to fuse contemporary opera music and mime theatre into a single performance. It is based on an assumption that these two arts can complement each other perfectly. Whereas modern opera can make a beautiful addition to mime theatre performance, the latter can brilliantly illustrate the message carried by the music.
The performance features the modern chamber opera Sacred Emily by Eun Ho Chang and six mime etudes where actors perform to pieces of music written especially for this occasion by young, modern composers such as Adrianna Furmanik-Celejewska, Anna Maria Huszcza, Marcin Piotr Łopacki, Dariusz Przybylski, Artur Słotwiński and Mateusz Tomasz Wiśniewski.
