The concert will be performed by American pianist Eugen Indjic, prize-winner of international competitions - he received 4th prize in the 8th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (1970) in Warsaw, 3rd prize in the Leeds International Piano Competition (1972) and 2nd prize in the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (1974) in Tel Aviv.

Programme:
Fryderyk Chopin - Mazurka in F minor, Op. 7 No. 3; Mazurka in D flat major, Op. 30 No. 3; Mazurka in C sharp minor, Op. 50 No.3
Robert Schumann - Fantasiestücke, Op. 12
Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57 "Appassionata"

The main aim of the project is to make the audience aware of the fact that the University of Warsaw campus was a special place in Fryderyk Chopin’s life. The composer not only lived for ten years (1817–1827) on the University’s premises (in the so-called "rector house") with his parents and sisters but also graduated from the Music School which was a part of the University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and Sciences.

The next recitals of the cycle will be presented by Markus Groh (Germany) on February 14, 2016, Ingolf Wunder (Austria) on May 15, 2016, Daniil Trifonov (Russia) on September 18, 2016 and Benjamin Grosvenor (United Kingdom) on November 6, 2016.
