Double Concerto for violin, accordion and orchestra composed by Marcin Błażewicz will be premiered on February 24, 2016 in the Concert Hall at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
UMFC Symphony Orchestra and soloists (Karolina Mikołajczyk - violin and Iwo Jedynecki - accordion) under the baton of Wojciech Rodek will also perform Ouverture to Ruslan and Lyudmila by Mikhail Glinka and Symphonie fantastique, Op. 14 by Hector Berlioz.
The concert is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage ("Composing Commissions" programme, operated by the Institute of Music and Dance) and co-organized by the Polish Accordionists' Association.
