Bronisław Huberman Częstochowa Philharmonic Choir under Janusz Siadlak will open its 2016/17 season with the concert entitled "Folk Traditions" held on October 13, 2016.
The artists will present folklore-inspired works by Polish composers – Tadeusz Baird, Kazimierz Serocki, Roman Maciejewski, Karol Szymanowski, Stanisław Wiechowicz, Juliusz Łuciuk and Romuald Twardowski. The programme covers the variety of fokloristic traditions from many regions in Poland, including Silesia, Mazovia, Lesser and Greater Poland, Podlasie and Lubelskie regions.
