2016 edition of Schaeffer’s Era will be held on November 25 at Studio TĘCZA in Warsaw (8 Rydygiera Street).
Schaeffer's Era Festival established a tradition of annual international meetings dedicated to Bogusław Schaeffer’s work. He has created over 550 musical compositions, which cover 23 genres, while his 44 plays have been translated into 17 languages. The event is centered around audiovisual arts and is an attempt to create an interactive theatre space that connects sound, image and movement. This year’s performance will be presented triply - at 6.00 pm, 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm (duration: 50 minutes). The list of invited artists inludes actors Marek Frąckowiak, Waldemar Obłoza, Sean Palmer and Lidia Bogaczówna, musicians Michał Urbaniak, Andy Ninvalle, Olga Szwajgier, Małe Instrumenty, Rajeev Mahavir, Patryk Zakrocki (violinist and sound artist, Schaeffer’s student) and dancers Witek Jurewicz, Hanna Wiadrowska.
