A concert featuring chamber works by Wojciech Kilar, Benedykt Konowalski, Waldemar Kazanecki and Henryk Kuźniak will be held on February 28, 2017 at the Artur Rubinstein Philharmonic in Łódź.
The concert will be performed by the members of the Łódź Philharmonic’s Orchestra who had programmed its every detail, from repertoire to instrumentation. The audience will be presented with a variety of chamber compositions that were written for double bass duo, string quartet, wind trios, string quintet and other ensembles. Apart from works by Polish composers, the artist will perform compositions by Vittorio Monti, Giovanni Bottesini, Astor Piazzolla, Norman Hallam, Peter Hope, Marc Berthomieu, Duke Ellington, Scott Joplin and others.
