The 10th jubilee edition of the "Schaeffer's Era" Festival will take place on September 29, 2018 at 7.00 p.m. at the Kadr Cultural Center in Warsaw.
The event named after Bogusław Schaeffer – a versatile artist, known as Leonardo da Vinci of the 21st century – celebrates its 10th edition. Organized continuously for a decade, the Festival is anchored in Warsaw, but it brings together artists from around the world. This cyclical event is an approximation of the work of the Polish artist, a meeting with artists from various fields of music, theater, film and performance.
This year's edition of the "Schaeffer's Era" will be directed by Maciej Sobociński. Among the invited musicians we will find Olga Szwajgier, Michał Urbaniak, Andy Ninvalle, Artur Dutkiewicz, Marcin Wyrostek and Corazon. The special guest of the event will be prof. Richard Demarco – promoter of Tadeusz Kantor in the 1970s, founder of the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Ambassador of Prof. Schaeffer in English-speaking countries.
