Poznań | Malta Charity Concert

On October 19, 2018 at 7.00 pm, the Adam Mickiewicz University Auditorium will host a Malta Charity Concert entitled "Little Spring in Autumn".

Szymon Nehring, winner of the Artur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv in 2017, is the only Pole who received the first prize in this one of the most important piano competitions in the world. In 2015, as the only Pole, he was among the finalists of the 17th Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, where he received a distinction, an audience award and many additional prizes

During the fall concert we will hear the sounds of spring in the Spring suite by Claude Debussy. The repertoire will also cover Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 17 by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Overture "Zur Namensfeier" by Ludwig van Beethoven, dedicated to prince Antoni Radziwiłł, and Krzesany by Wojciech Kilar. The Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra will be led by Marek Pijarowski.

The concert will take place under the patronage of the PWM Edition as part of the TUTTI.pl project promoting performances of Polish music
