This year's penultimate chamber concert of Sinfonia Varsovia will take place on November 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at 272 Grochowska St. in Warsaw.
The theme of this year's "Sinfonia Varsovia Kameralnie" series is Polish music composed after 1918. The November concert will feature chamber music of Krzysztof Penderecki, who celebrates his 85th birthday this month: Sonata for violin and piano and Ciaccona in the version for violin and cello. The programme will be complemented by Witold Lutosławski's Partita and Andrzej Panufnik's Piano Trio. The performers will be: Sinfonia Varsovia concertmaster Jakub Haufa, cellist Kamil Mysiński and guest musician, pianist Michel Francuz. The concert will be hosted by Mariusz Gradowski.
