On April 24-28, 2019, the Kwidzyn Castle will host the third edition of the Kwidzyn Music Spring International Festival. All concerts will take place in the dormitory, famous for its excellent acoustics.

The festival was founded on the initiative of Dr Iwona Glinka, a flutist and educator from Kwidzyn who works with various European music schools. One of the aspects of her activity is the promotion of classical music among the residents of Kwidzyn city and county. The programme will feature Kwartet Gdański and Bartosz Paprot in exquisite works for guitar. The Whoop Group will present popular classical music pieces and new compositions for saxophone quartet. We will also listen to the Evolution of classical music written by saxophonist and composer Krzysztof Koszowski. The festival will end on April 28 with a performance of the Progress Chamber Orchestra and soloists Iwona Glinka and Mirosław Pachowicz under the baton of Szymon Morus.
