Szczecin | Evening of Polish Ballets

The premiere of "Evening of Polish ballets" will take place on May 18, 2019 at 7.00 p.m. in the Castle Opera in Szczecin.>

The spectacle will consist of two one-act ballets: On the Billet by Stanisław Moniuszko and Song of the Earth by Roman Palester. The premiere of Moniuszko's ballet in choreography by Robert Bondara, appreciated for his modern interpretations of Polish historical works, is the main event of the Moniuszko Year celebrations in the Castle Opera. The second ballet will be presented in the choreography by the Italian artist Paolo Mangiola, director of the national ballet in Malta, who will reinterpret the masterly orchestrated and energetic score by Palester.

On May 19, the spectacle will be played at 6.00 p.m.as part of the fifth edition of the Public Theater Day and the accompanying event – "Theatre ticket for 350 groszy". Ticket sales will only take place at the box office of the Castle Opera, starting from May 18, 2019 at 12.00 p.m. (it is not possible to book or buy them through the website). One person will be able to buy a maximum of 2 tickets.

The event coordinated by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
