On May 24-26, 2019, the Lublin Philharmonic invites you to a series of concerts under the common name of "Lublin Youth Spring".
The project aims to discover, promote and integrate young music talents. It will gather students from the music schools of the Lublin Province and from Wrocław (Youth Chamber Orchestra of the Chevalier de Saint-George). As part of the project, on the initiative of the General Director of the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra Wojciech Rodek, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Lublin Philharmonic will be created – a novelty in the musical environment of the region.
The concerts' repertoire is extremely rich. We will be able to listen to the works of such masters as: Bellini, Haydn, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Moniuszko, Mozart, Rachmaninow, Szostakowicz, Wieniawski and others, performed not only by instrumentalists but also by vocalists. The project will be inaugurated by a concert of music school students, featuring a Small concert for piano and instrumental group by Romuald Twardowski. The final concert will include a Melody by Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
