TheBeskidy Festival of Classics "Cavatina Classics" will take place on May 28 – June 8, 2019, as part of the 20th Beskidy Festival of Science and Art.
The festival was founded on the initiative of artists active in the music industry for 25 years in cooperation with the largest university in Podbeskidzie region, the Academy of Technology and Humanities, and the representatives of Polish business. The organizers of the new event on the cultural map of the southern Poland aimed to bring to Bielsko-Biała both Polish and foreign acclaimed musicians.
The concerts in Bielsko-Biała – beautifully situated among the green Beskid hills, and called a "Little Vienna" – will feature such performers as Duo del Gesu, Paweł Kotla, Valentina Igoshina, Charlie Siem and Caroline Jaya-Ratnam. The inauguration concert will premiere A due (2019) by Kamil Cieślik.
