Silesia

"Starlets from Karłowicz" or "Children for Children" – this could be the title of the next concert from the series "Mom, Dad, let's go to a concert!". The students of the Mieczysław Karłowicz State Music School will perform at their school on Sunday afternoon. They will look for the answers to such questions as: Can two clarinets play simultaneously in the rhythm of tango? Why is the bassoon so big and makes such unusual and strange sounds? What does Jan Sebastian Bach have to do with rock? Is it easier to act as a soloist or to perform in an ensemble? They will perform pieces in the rhythms of polonaise, minuet, tango and bolero There will also be some additional attractions for the listeners, like coloring books and many interesting stories about music and instruments.

Free tickets are available at the IPiUM Silesia office (2 Sejmu Śląskiego Square, ground floor, room 20) or by phone 32 219 33 44 at 26.
