The 7th edition of "Emanacje" Music Festival will be held between 30 June and 1 September 2019, featuring several dozen concerts in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
This year's concerts will take place in Szymbark, Gorlice, Biecz, Oświęcim, Niepołomice, Nowy Wiśnicz, Sucha Beskidzka, Szczawnica, Tarnów, Nowy Sącz, Kąśna Dolna, Dębno and Kraków. The festival center will be located in the the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice. Festival events will take place every weekend, offering the Lesser Poland audience and visitors of the region a rich musical repertoire performed by the best musicians of the young generation and their masters. The festival will feature, among others, Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra, Orchestra of the Leoš Janáček Philharmonic in Ostrava, Tarnów Chamber Orchestra, Arte Dei Suonatori, Penderecki Youth Orchestra and Adam Bałdych Quartet.
The star of the festival will be Janusz Wawrowski, who will lead the Warsaw String Players Orchestra composed of the most talented students and graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The concertmaster and founder of the orchestra will play the violin of the legendary luthier Antonio Stradivari. The programme will include works by Mieczysław Karłowicz, Béla Bartók, Mieczysław Weinberg and Krzysztof Penderecki.
