Next edition of the "Summer Stage at the Academy of Music" – a series of holiday meetings with music performed by teachers, students and graduates of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music Academy in Poznań will be held between 29 June and 31 August 2019.
The Academy of Music Coundation in cooperation with the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music and the Poznań City Hall has prepared an attractive concert offer for all those who plan to spend the summer in Poznań. The tradition of musical meetings in the summertime has more than twenty years – from 2012 the concerts were held in the Poznań City Hall (the cycle was called "Summer City Hall Concerts") and from 2013 at the Academy of Music Auditorium (name changed to "Summer Stage at the Academy of Music").
Holiday concerts in the Stefan Stuligrosz Auditorium will be held on Wednesdays in July and August (3, 10, 17, 24, 31 July and 7, 14, 21, 28 August). The inauguration and final concert will take place at the courtyard of the Poznań City Hall on Saturdays: June 29 and August 31 at 12.15 pm. Admission is fee for all the concerts.
The musicians will present an attractive, varied repertoire, including works by Polish composers: F. Chopin, S. Moniuszko, M. Karłowicz, J. Zarębski, I.J. Paderewski, K. Szymanowski, G. Bacewicz, A. Krzanowski, H. Czyż, B. Kaszuba, B. Dowlasz, T. Joteyko, S. Niewiadomski, K. Brosławska-Zawadzka, and J. Młodziejowski.
