The final concerts of the second series of "Mazovian Musical Meetings without Barriers" will take place on 5 September 2019 at 6 p.m. at the historic House of Creative Work "Reymontówka" in Chlewiska andon 8 September 2019 at 12 p.m. at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Seroczyn.
The "Czas Sztuki" Foundation runs a series of concerts of classical and jazz music entitled "Mazovian Musical Meetings without Barriers". The events take place in very small towns in the Minsk, Szydłowiec and Siedlce counties, where residents do not have access to cultural goods.
During the concert in Chlewiska, excellent mezzo-soprano Magdalena Cornelius will perform in the company of accordionist Maciej Zimka. The repertoire will include the most beautiful songs by Fryderyk Chopin, Stanisław Moniuszko, Mieczysław Karłowicz, and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In Seroczyn, organists Zuzanna and Maciej Bator will perform pieces for four hands and four legs by such composers as Johann Sebastian Bach, Correa de Arrauxo, Bert Matter, Hieronymus Praetorius and Franz Tunder.
The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund. Admission free!
