Warsaw| „Eufonie” – a meeting with Maestro Zsolt Nagy

A meeting with Maestro Zsolt Nagy will take place on 21 November 2019 at 6 p.m. at the "Eufonie" Festival Office (17 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street).

This well-known Hungarian conductor will lead the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Choir and soloist in Krzysztof Penderecki's Polish Requiem at the final concert of the 2nd "Eufonie" Festival (23 November, detailed program of the concert at: https://nck.pl/projekty-kulturalne/projekty/festiwal-eufonie/). The meeting will be hosted by dr Beata Bolesławska-Lewandowska, a musicologist whose research interests focus on Polish contemporary music. The interview will be conducted in English, but the introduction and summary will be presented in Polish.

Maestro Zsolt Nagy (born in 1957, Hungary) is the first conductor and music adviser to the Israel Contemporary Players ensemble. The artist has led over 800 premieres, as well as numerous radio recordings. He is a laureate of numerous music awards, a longtime professor of conducting at the Paris Conservatoire.
