The Chair of Choir Studies and Artistic Education of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music – Białystok Branch invites you to the 3rd National Academic and Artistic Conference "Choral music – achievements, perspectives: choral music of the 20th and 21st century", which will take place on 6-7 April 2020 in Białystok.
Among the topics to be discussed during this year's conference are: "The directions of development of contemporary choral music," "Performance practice and contemporary compositional techniques in choral music," "Music of the 20th and 21st centuries as didactic material for choral groups," "Confrontation of composer's intentions with the practice of choral ensemble," "Promotion of contemporary Polish music," "First performance of choral composition – practical notes".
The organizers invite conductors, choir masters, as well as composers, musicologists, theoreticians and all people interested in contemporary choral music and its artistic and teaching values to participate in the conference.
