The latest work by Aleksandra Garbal entitled The Last Words of Angels and Human Hearts before the End of Time will be premiered online at 3 May 2020 at 7.00 p.m. at the Church of Saint Catherine in Toszek website and YouTube channel.
The work was written on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Novena to Our Lady of Toszek to the texts of Marian prayers from around the world, including those by St. Pope John Paul II, Pope Leo XIII, Pope Francis, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, blessed Natalia Tułasiewicz, Maria Nowak-Kowalska, Kornelia Czogalik and Father Antoni Dębiński. The composition was recorded by the composer, her family and friends from various continents of the world.
The composer, pianist and harpsichordist Aleksandra Garbal is a graduate of the Music Academy in Katowice and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She has won a number of awards at piano and composition competitions. among others the second prize at the Tadeusz Baird Composition Competition and the first prize at the Ryszard Bukowski Composition Competition. He is a member of the Polish Composers' Union, Polish Society of Contemporary Music and ZAiKS Authors' Association.
