Elbląg Chamber Orchestra & Mateusz Rusowicz – online concert series

The Elbląg Chamber Orchestra enters the online world with a series of concerts "Historia, jak z nut" ("History, like from the notes"). Every two weekes, beginning from 20 May 2020 at 5.00 p.m., the concerts will be broadcast on the ensemble's YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The Elbląg Chamber Orchestra together with conductor Mateusz Rusowicz will introduce unknown interpretations of well-known works. They will also present mini-concerts performed by the ensemble's musicians. The series will be inaugurated by Wojciech Kilar's Orawa.

Maestro Mateusz Rusowicz was a resident conductor of the Elbląg Chamber Orchestra in the 2018/2019 artistic season as part of the programme run by the Institute of Music and Dance. He has taken part in various festivals, including "Warsaw Autumn" and "Sacrum Profanum". As a trumpeter, he cooperates with the early music ensemble Il Giardino d'Amore. He is also a co-founder and collaborator of the Spółdzielnia Muzyczna Contemporary Ensemble.
