"Playing the classical music" is a new concert series by the Academy of Music in Krakow and the Krakow Festival Office, which will last until 13 September 2020. Talented young artists and academic teachers at The Academy of Music in Krakow. The modern space of the ICE Kraków Auditorium, and in the virtuoso repertoire of Chopin, Schubert, Szymanowski, Rachmaninow and Prokofiew, among others.
In the Krzysztof Penderecki Auditorium Hall at the ICE Kraków Congress Center musicians will perform who will lead us into the most beautiful world of sounds, where music becomes the highest value of beauty. As part of the "Playing the classical music" series we will hear soloists and chamber ensembles composed of students, PhD students and academic teachers of the Academy of Music in Krakow, who will perform works from the Baroque era to the present day. The program of the concert series will include works by Fryderyk Chopin, Henryk Wieniawski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Wanda Landowska, Karol Szymanowski, Roman Statkowski, Ludomir Różycki, Grażyna Bacewicz, Mieczysław Wajnberg, Witold Lutosławski, Roman Palester, Józef Świder and Wojciech Kilar.
