"With classics through Poland": music for piano trio

IMiT Next concerts in the series 'With classics through Poland' will take place on 18 September 2020 in the House of Creative Work "Reymontówka" in Chlewiska (7 p.m.), on 19 September at the Castle in Janów Podlaski (5 p.m.) and on 20 September at the Christian Cultural Centre in Wisznice (12.30 p.m.). We will hear music for piano trio.

The aim of the project, which began in the second half of 2019, is to bring music performed by the most outstanding Polish artists to smaller community centres, cities, towns and villages; to reach audiences who have difficult access to classical music. Through contact with the great art and artists, new audiences are being introduced to the world of classical chamber music, having a chance to become its new enthusiasts.

The upcoming concerts will feature the Cuore Piano Trio composed of: Zuzanna Budzyńska (violin), Jadwiga Roguska (cello) and Szymon Ogryzek (piano). The ensemble will perform Piano Trio in C major KV 548 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Piano Trio in E major, Op. 5 by Franciszek Lessel and Piano Trio No. 2 by Romuald Twardowski.

The project is carried out by the Polish Music Management, operating at the Institute of Music and Dance, thanks to the support of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prof. Piotr Gliński and under his patronage.
