The Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic will inaugurate the 2020/2021 season on 9 October 2020 at 7.00 p.m. with one of the most outstanding Polish violinists, called a "violin great-grandson" of Henryk Wieniawski – Krzysztof Jakowicz.
The Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Jacek Rogala will open the concert with beautiful Lullaby by Emil Młynarski, the co-founder and first director of the Warsaw Philharmonic. Krzysztof Jakowicz will present one of the most frequently performed violin concertos, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Violin Concerto in A major KV 219. The evening will end with joyous Symphony No. 4 in B-major, Op. 60 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert will be accompanied by the Color and Sound exhibition prepared by Roman Gruszecki – a painter who runs the Kolor Gallery in Kazimierz Dolny.
