FeelHarmony Quintet: Polish Music

FSzOn 1 May 2021 at 7.00 p.m FeelHarmony Quintet of the Szczecin Philharmonic will present masterpieces of Polish chamber music for wind quintet, including two world premieres of works by Tadeusz K. Mazurek and Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk.

Tadeusz K. Mazurek is an artist from Szczecin who lectures at the Szczecin Academy of Art. He has worked as a conductor at the Castle Opera in Szczecin, Silesian Operetta in Gliwice, Sudeten Philharmonic in Wałbrzych and Music Theatre in Poznań. The list of his works includes an opera as well as choral, orchestral and chamber music. His Quartet for wind instruments will be premiered at the upcoming concert.

Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk is a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, a laureate of national and international composition competitions. Her Verses of priest Jan Twardowski will be premiered by soloists of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Orchestra and Anna Gielarowska, a Szczecin actress who will read priest Jan Twardowski's poems.

We will also hear Tadeusz Szeligowski's Quintet for wind instruments and Alexsander Tansman's La Danse de la Sorcière.
