Finale of the Summer Song Festival at Ojrzanów Palace

OjrzanowThe "Friends of Music" Foundation for Culture Support invites you to the final concert of the Summer Song Festival, which will take place on Friday, 30 July 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ojrzanów Palace near Warsaw (Żabia Wola, 1 Tarczyńska St.).

The last concert of the "Music Salon" series will be performed by Zuzanna Nalewajek (mezzo-soprano) and Paweł Sommer (piano). We will hear works by such composers as Fryderyk Chopin, Mieczysław Karłowicz, Emil Młynarski, Władysław Żeleński, Karol Szymanowski and Witold Lutosławski.

Zuzanna Nalewajek is a third-year student of Prof. Ewa Iżykowska-Lipińska at the Vocal and Acting Department at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She is also a participant of the Young Talents Development Programme – Opera Academy at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, where she practices under the supervision of outstanding teachers, such as Olga Pasiecznik, Izabella Kłosińska, MaZhias Rexroth and Eytan Pessen.

Paweł Sommer is an employee and doctoral student at the FCUM in Warsaw, an alumnus of Prof. Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn. He combines pedagogical work with concert activity, taking part – as a soloist and chamber musician – in various artistic events, including concerts from the "Sounds of Art" series at the National Museum in Warsaw, Vocal Techniques and Interpretation Courses at the House of Creative Work in Radziejowice under the supervision of Prof. Ryszard Karczykowski and many others in Poland and abroad.

The series was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the "Music" programme carried out by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
