The Municipal Cultural Centre in Świnoujście invites you to concerts as part of the Markowy Festival, which will be held on 4-8 August 2021 at the Marek Grechuta Amphitheater.
This year, on the big stage of the City Amphitheater at Chopin streeet we will see, among others, Krzesimir Dębski ("Krakow concert –The greatest hits of film music") and the Big Bike Orchestra ("World music on bicycles").
Krzesimir Dębski is one of the most famous and versatile Polish artists. He is a recognized composer, jazz violinist, conductor, arranger and music producer, honoured with the most important awards in the world of music (and not only). On 5 August we will hear fragments of his most beautiful film scores as well as popular songs by outstanding authors and artists associated with Krakow. The Warsaw Impressione Orchestra conducted by Krzesimir Dębski will be accompanied by soloists and a ballet group. The next day, however, we will hear an exceptional orchestra on a unique bicycle – a group of six musicians can play a concert while riding a two-wheeler. This six-seater bicycle was constructed especially for the Municipal Cultural Centre in Bydgoszcz with the Orchestra in mind. The ensemble, presenting original arrangements of works from around the world, is a part of the project of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Bydgoszcz "Culture ProNatura" which is focused on the issues of ecology, recycling, respect for environement and humility towards nature as part of the idea of sustainable development.
