Wejherowo | ArteFonie Festival

Artefonie The ArteFonie festival, which will be held on 3-5 September 2021, is a new musical event on the map of northern Poland. The festival is organised by the renowned Art'nVoices vocal octet – winner of the Fryderyk 2021 Polish Phonographic Academy Award in the "Album of the Year – Contemporary Music" category.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Art'n'Voices, the ensemble invites you to the first ArteFonie Festival, combining various genres of high culture and presenting the achievements of artists of the young generation. The programme will feature chamber, choral, organ, improvised, as well as folk and jazz music. All events will take place in Wejherowo on the first weekend of September.

The festival opens with a jazz concert related to the project "Cassubia" by Jakub Klemensiewicz and Dominik Kisiel, which was inspired by the songs of the folk artist from Jastarnia – Marian Selin. Saturday evening in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Poland, will be filled with chamber and organ music performed by violinist Maria Perucka and organist Roman Perucki. The final anniversary concert "Art'n'Voices – 10 years on stage" will present compositions by Polish contemporary artists from the Midnight Stories album. Art'n'Voices will also premiere the winning piece of the composition competition organised as part of the ArteFonieFestival. The winner will be selected from among 37 submitted applications.
