The concert of spatial music by three Poznań composers from the Z2P Stage series will take place on 7 October 2021 at 6.00 p.m. at the Future Labs Supercomputing and Networking Centre in Poznań. The works will be presented in a specially adapted room equipped with a set of over 30 speakers.
The theme of the third edition of Z2P Stage will be spatiality in experimental electronic music. It involves the use of a multi-channel sound system to spatialize sound compositions. Works presented during the event will be a summary of artistic residencies in the ambisonic sound studio of the Art & Science laboratory. The residency participants developed their artistic projects over several weeks using a 24-speaker sound system. The concert programme will include: Michał Janocha's Tactile thresholds II, Anna Obara's OVERRESONATED_finalversion(15), Wiktoria Różycka's Journey of The Guilty Souls, Soil Troth's Utricularia, and Lidia Zielińska's Pustynnienie.
Z2P Stage is a series of concerts and performances at the Art & Science laboratory of the PSNC Future Labs. The idea of Z2P Stage is to present, next to regular concerts, events including the new technology as an equal instrument. Z2P Stage is also a space for mediation through technology, science and art, which results in sound, soundart or performance experiments.
