The new season of the Silesian Philharmonic brings a new series of PGE concerts – HoloGramy, combining musical and visual experience. The audience gathered in the Concert Hall will have the opportunity not only to listen to the concert, but also to admire the holograms displayed on the fog screen, with which the Silesian Philharmonic Hall – as the only one in Europe – is equipped. The first concert will be held on 10 October 2021 at 5.00 p.m.
The Silesian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Maciej Tomasiewicz invites you to a multimedia concert of Wojciech Kilar's film music. The premiere performance of the soundtrack from the movie Salt of the Black Earth directed by Kazimierz Kutz will undoubtedly be an interesting point of the programme. Until now, due to the lack of score, we only knew this music in the audio version. Thanks to Adam Wesołowski, director of the Silesian Philharmonic and composer, who prepared a transcription of Kilar's composition by ear, it can be now performed live in concert.
Moreover, the programme will include pieces from such film as The Pianist, Portrait of a Lady, The Shadow Line, The Leper and Pan Tadeusz.
