The Art'n'Voices Vocal Ensemble announces the 2nd edition of the Composers' Competition for a choral piece to a text by a Polish female poet, which will be held as part of the ArteFonie Festival. The deadline for submitting competition entries is the 20th of July, 2022.
The competition aims to popularize and develop choral literature intended for amateur choirs, therefore the subject of this year's edition is to write a piece for mixed choir in one of the two variants to choose from:
1. piece for mixed choir a cappella;
2. piece for mixed choir with piano accompaniment.
The texts for the competition composition should come from the works of Polish female poets, with particular emphasis on those of Maria Konopnicka.
